One of the most common things that can cause a decrease in pressure in the engine of the car is the presence of leakage, which may cause a complete combustion of fuel, so came the idea of piston rings function is the complete provisions between the body of the piston and cylinder walls, from the inside to prevent any leak causing pressure in the engine, To prevent the leakage of oil into the combustion chamber, and remove the deposits on the membrane of the cylinder,

Now we go to the types of episodes are:

First: pressure rings

These rings tighten the pressure inside the combustion chambers and prevent the leakage of fuel, air and pressure to the bottom of the engine and installed in most engines two pressure rings in one piston, and the conditions of the installation of the rings is that they should not be on one straightness to prevent the leakage pressure.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Second: Oil rings:

The oil ring is the bottom ring that is located in the piston and its function is to skim the excess oil from the walls of the cylinder, so that the oil passes through the cracks of the ring to the openings inside the piston cavities and it returns to the carton is also the function of preventing the entry of oil into the combustion chamber, so as not to burn with the mixture.
